Terms and Conditions for Affiliate Program

1. Introduction 1.1 These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern participation in our affiliate program ("Program"). By registering for the Program, affiliates ("Affiliates") agree to these Terms.

1.2 This Program is operated by Bug and Bee Books ("we," "us," "our"), an Australian-based Business.

2. Eligibility

2.1 To participate, individuals or businesses must:

• Be 18 years or older.

• Provide accurate registration information through the Affiliatly platform.

• Comply with all applicable Australian laws and regulations.

2.2 We reserve the right to approve or reject any application at our sole discretion.

3. Registration and Account Management

3.1 Affiliates must register for the Program through Affiliatly, accessible here.

3.2 Affiliates are responsible for maintaining the security and confidentiality of their account credentials. Any unauthorised use must be reported to us immediately.

4. Affiliate Links and Tracking

4.1 Affiliates will be provided with a unique referral link upon registration. This link must be used to track referrals accurately.

4.2 Affiliates must not:

• Use spam, unsolicited emails, or deceptive marketing practices.

• Misrepresent our business or products.

• Engage in illegal or unethical conduct.

5. Commission and Payouts

5.1 Affiliates will earn $5 for every referral that results in a successful purchase using their unique link.

5.2 Commissions are only eligible for physical hardcover DOT products (this includes single purchase DOTs, multiple DOT’s or bundle DOTs.)

5.3 Commission is paid only once per order, not per DOT.

5.3 Earnings will be paid out once the Affiliate’s total balance reaches a minimum of $20. Payments will be processed monthly via bank transfer.

5.4 Affiliates are responsible for providing accurate payment details. We are not liable for payments sent to incorrect details provided by Affiliates.

5.5 We reserve the right to withhold or reverse commissions for fraudulent or invalid referrals.

6. Program Modifications and Termination

6.1 We reserve the right to modify or terminate the Program at any time, with or without notice. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting on our website or notification via email.

6.2 If the Program is terminated, accrued earnings above a $10 threshold will be paid out in the next scheduled payment cycle.

7. Affiliate Responsibilities

7.1 Affiliates must comply with the Australian Consumer Law and ensure all promotional activities are truthful and not misleading.

7.2 Affiliates must disclose their affiliate relationship with us in all marketing materials, as required by the Australian Competition and Consumer Commission (ACCC).

8. Intellectual Property

8.1 Affiliates are granted a non-exclusive, revocable license to use our trademarks and promotional materials solely for the purpose of promoting our products within the Program.

8.2 Affiliates must not alter or misuse our intellectual property.

9. Limitation of Liability

9.1 We are not liable for any indirect, special, or consequential damages arising out of participation in the Program.

9.2 Our total liability shall not exceed the total commissions paid to the Affiliate.

10. Governing Law

10.1 These Terms are governed by the laws of Australia. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of NSW.

11. Privacy

11.1 We collect and process personal data in accordance with SquareSpace and Affiliatly’s guidelines.

11.2 Affiliates consent to the collection, use, and disclosure of their data as necessary for Program administration.

12. Miscellaneous

12.1 These Terms constitute the entire agreement between us and the Affiliate.

12.2 If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.
